Privacy policy

This policy explains what information TaleemSuite collects through this website and through the TaleemSuite service, why we collect it, and what we do to protect it. TaleemSuite is operated from Pakistan. If anything here is unclear, write to us through the contact page.

This website

When you request a demo we ask for your name, mobile number, the name of your institute, its city, roughly how many students it has, and optionally your email and a message. We use these details only to contact you about TaleemSuite. We do not sell them, and we do not add you to marketing lists you did not ask for.

The website itself does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) to keep the site secure and working.

Data inside TaleemSuite

Schools and academies that use TaleemSuite enter information about their students, guardians and staff: names, contact numbers, attendance, fees, marks and similar records. That information belongs to the institute. We process it only to provide the service to that institute, and we act on its instructions.

• Each institute’s records are kept separate from every other institute’s inside the database.
• Staff see only the branches their institute assigns to them.
• Parents who use the parent portal see only their own children’s records.
• Access by our own support staff is limited, logged, and used only to help the institute.

Messages to parents

Institutes can send WhatsApp messages to guardians, such as absence alerts, fee reminders and results. These messages are sent on the institute’s behalf to numbers the institute has entered. Parent portal sign-in codes are sent to the guardian’s own WhatsApp number.

How long we keep information

Demo requests are kept for as long as we are in touch with you, and for up to two years afterwards. Institute data is kept while the institute uses TaleemSuite. When an institute leaves, it can export its data, after which we delete it within a reasonable period, except where we must keep records by law.

Your choices

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the details you gave us through this website. If you are a parent or student, please contact your school or academy about records it holds; we will help it respond.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be told to institutes using TaleemSuite before they take effect.
